What We Like
What we loved about the Jura A1 (like we do with all the Jura machines) is the superb espresso, and excellent coffee, that's consistent every time, thanks to it's Pulse Extraction Process.
All you need is good quality coffee beans that can get loaded into the bean hopper. It also allowed us to adjust our coffee strength to the way we loved.
The Jura Aroma Gourmet Burr Grinder is also a huge selling point for this machine, as it's a professional-grade grinder that will give you uniform grinding every time - perfect for those who want the perfect espresso shot and some high end espresso quality.
One last thing we loved about this machine was the price, this is one of the most affordable Jura machines and it is definitely an entry model in our opinion if you're after quality coffee.
What We Don’t Like
What we disliked about this model is that it didn't have a touch screen for drink selection.
The other thing is that it is only capable of making 3 specialty drinks, espresso, coffee and ristretto.
It can be a huge setback, but if that is all you need a coffee maker for the Jura A1 is definitely for you.
One last thing we disliked was that it had a small water reservoir , which will need to be filled often if you have a house of coffee lovers.
